Student in Spot Light – Zi Qian Zheng
Student in Spot LightZi Qian Zheng
“Zi Qian is a joyful boy, sometimes funny,” says Calvin, Zi Qian’s teacher. It was two years ago this boy took violin lessons at Allegro Academy of Music and embarked on his musical journey with a shiny brownish red 1/4 sized violin in his hand. Now playing on a 3/4 sized violin, as his command of the instrument continues to grow, Zi Qian feels more comfortable and confident playing on stage for a large group of audience. Last year he hit the first milestone by achieving an A grade in the AMEB First Grade exam.
Since we have been curious about how he thinks of learning to play the violin and also want to know a little more about him, we have asked him a few questions.
